Stephen Tennant, youngest son of Baron Glenconner, was a social butterfly. He was a decadent and dazzling socialite. An amateur artist and writer, he was also a member of the group known as the “Bright Young Things” in the 1920′s. A close friend of society photographer Cecil Beaton, he was often a model for Beaton’s photographic studies. He was the lover of Poet and Soldier Siegfried Sassoon.
